We all love homemade gifts. Besides, if you learn that 8 in 10 toys ends up in landfill or ocean, you will probably consider more for hand-making birthday gifts that saves the Earth, and make your loved ones touched.
Protests or campaigns seems to be the only way to make a change in policies. But sending emails or calling your local representatives about an environmental issue you care about will be effective, too!
Volunteering for an environmental charity or joining a community cleanup allows you to contribute directly to climate actions. It is an amazing way to gain new experience and meet wonderful people.
