Hi! I'm Rika, and I'm the creator of PomoBond. Thank you again for being here. 

The idea of building this website started when I was thinking about what was the best thing I could do to save this planet I love. As a person who is deeply inspired by the magic of nature, it has truly been heartbraking to watch us destroying our one and only home.

As an ordinary student, I may not have the power to change the world. However, I believe that being born human gives you and I a privilege to speak for nature; to break the circle of silence. 

I believe in a future where humankind calls the Western Red Cedar an "old friend", not a "resource for the economy". My hope for PomoBond is to turn the thoughts of "somewhere in the world" to "somewhere in my community".
